Foreign Policy and National Defense Plan
In Zonacalgra, we will ensure our safety by having foreign immigrants go through a list of processes that they will need to go through before being granted citizenship. This includes a background check and applying for a visa. The main goals in Zonacalgra’s foreign policy are to create strong relations with economically successful countries and organizations, such as the United States and the European Union, and to become allies in case of war. This is to help create strong economic ties between Zonacalgra and leaders in trade, which should increase or stabilize Zonacalgra’s economic production and also to further protect the citizens with support of other countries. Having major support systems is a key to a strong defense plan.

To ensure safety in Zonacalgra immigrants must go through a background check to make sure that people aren’t carrying illegal drugs, illegal weapons, or other contraband. Though background checking is a long process, it aids in preventing any violence and trade or illegal drugs in the region. Forming alliances with much bigger powers will support Zonaclgra in times of need such as war and depression. These alliances may also bring in soldiers when in war time, and all else is failing. All these policies allow people to live together and less troubles for all the people in the provinces of Zonacalgra.
Threats for National Security
The main threats to Zonacalgra are from cyber attacks, climate change, and drug traffickers. In order to address cyber attacks, more money needs to be directed towards strengthening cyber regulatory systems and educate citizens about the possible threats. To decelerate the rate of climate change, Zonacalgra is enforcing strict regulations for most manufacturing and agriculture to ensure that products do not produce as much pollution and greenhouse gases. We will also be honing in on drug suppliers, which may aid in lowering the rate of homicide. The government is paying attention to all of these threats and is passing new laws to ensure national security.
