The Caribbean faces many economic issues such as lack of advanced technology and climate change. The time it takes a person to do a certain job may take a largely less amount of time for a machine to do a job. These countries are less developed and are less fortunate than others, thus the government can’t afford to buy such expensive machines. This system causes supply and demand rates to decrease and a lot of more labor intensive jobs that are unnecessary. Though lack of technology is an important disadvantage, another economic issue that is of equal importance is climate change. Big changes in climate change such as droughts and hurricanes causes the seasonal farming to either be delayed or destroyed and less people visit for vacation. Differences in climate change are mostly caused by gas emissions from cars, deforestation, and global warming.
